RENEWABLES FOR SCHOOLS
“If you give people tools, and they use their natural abilities and their curiosity, they will develop things in ways that will surprise you very much beyond what you might have expected.”
Bill Gates
The age old axiom that knowledge is power applies no less to Renewables for Schools than to any other area of life. But we need tools to harness this knowledge. Which is why Renewables for Schools is proud to partner with eco action games: one of the best educational tools in our arsenal in the combat against climate change.
Research shows that pupils learn more and are more likely to retain what they learn when they are engaging in high sensory purposeful activity instead of being simply fed information. By taking a more active role in the learning process, pupils mentally flourish by developing their own conceptualisations of what they are being taught, which in turn forges much stronger neural connections in the brain.
With a name like eco action games, one might assume that we'd be talking about a product which is primarily targeting Key Stages 1 & 2.
Well, you'd be forgiven for thinking that, but really that couldn't be further from the truth! From primary and secondary schools to world renowned universities such as the University of Manchester, educational establishments the country over have been relying on eco action games to help pupils with their continual sustainable development. Here is a list of some of the clients which eco action games have previously worked with:
