Mission Statement
Renewables for Schools is a non-profit movement dedicated to social good.
We provide renewable, practical and learning support for schools to help them make a difference in their communities and for the environment. If we all act now, we believe that schools can be
zero carbon and powered using exclusively renewable energy by the year 2030.
EFFICIENCY
Renewables for Schools helps schools to take the necessary steps to ensure they are being as energy efficient as possible. Through a continual three way cycle of measuring, evaluating and improving the school's energy consumption, significant savings are made on both energy bills and CO2.
ENGINEERING
Renewables for Schools helps schools to explore the potential for incorporating sustainable and renewable energy technologies into their buildings and then take steps towards turning this potential into reality.
ENGAGEMENT
Empowering both teachers and pupils alike with the knowledge and motivation to meet the challenges of climate change, Renewables for Schools aims to embed sustainability into all aspects of school life and inspire a whole new generation of environmental enthusiasts.
